South Austin Rocks is a company dedicated to keeping a sense of community in South Austin. The website was created to provide means to cross promote local businesses and give those that live in and love South Austin access to local retail, restaurants, services and just all around good deals. The owner/creator of the concept is local Realtor, Heather Rigsbee. As founder of South Austin Rocks Realty and a South Austin Homeowner herself, it occurred to her while she was building her company website, that it would be really great to provide a site that was easy to remember, and that could be used to freely promote not just her own business, but other businesses and professional services in the area. She thought it would be very nice to have one place that everyone could access that would provide information about all kinds of things in South Austin, whether it was good food, good shopping, or just good deals!
